Many adults face the challenge of answering children's endless questions, to which we ourselves often have no satisfactory answers. Every child is a little philosopher, but unfortunately, most of them lose this quality in adulthood.

In my picture book “Curious Creatures” I have collected the most abstract and profound questions from children. This book does not give definitive answers but invites you to enter an open dialog and philosophize about these questions with the children (or alone).

Our creativity is based on combining familiar elements in new ways, which can awaken further associations. The creatures in my book are atypical mixtures of different creatures and are intended to encourage children to consider humorous answers. Children should not be restricted in their view of the world but should feel inspired to broaden their perspective.
