The series of prints “Rest” is based on my observational walks' abstract photographs. These are the patterns, which create a landscape in the fast-forward moving city, at the same time valuing the analog medium of printed craft - poster. A big thing in graphic design and pop culture in general. 

Printed posters remain a big part of an urban landscape even in today’s digital era. As a graphic designer and a big fan of posters as a graphic medium, I love to bring an experimental approach to the creation of posters. I observed the visible traces of the poster in the form of glue or/and leftovers of paper, after the poster came off, which I call “poster-ghosts” around the cities where I’ve been too. The accidental stains on the walls create very beautiful patterns, so to say, prolonging the existence of the printed medium, which was there before. This project explores the city's uncontrolled visual aesthetics, which was created by accident.
